Poor decor irks Hindu Sangam

A LACK of Deepavali decorations at government buildings and many shopping centres in Penang has irked the Malaysian Hindu Sangam and some members of the Hindu community.

Its Penang branch Social and Welfare Committee chairman P. Murugiah said he had received several complaints from Hindus that this did not reflect the 1Malaysia concept promoted by the government.
