JOHOR BARU: Contraband cigarettes worth RM215,820 with unpaid duties of RM1.11mil at the Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) in Gelang Patah were seized by the Johor Customs Department.
A team from the Gelang Patah Customs enforcement stopped a 20-foot container at the port after receiving information from the Customs Intelligence Centre in the 1.30am incident on Aug 15, said state director Mohd Subre Ishak.
