Gujaratis dance away non-stop for 12-hours

GUJARATIS, young and old, men and women, had an eventful day of dancing their traditional folk dance, Garba on Aug 14 as a prelude to the official opening of Gujarati Association’s premises on Aug 15.

The 12-hour non-stop event, which was held at the association’s premises in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur, kick-started at 10am and went on till 10pm. The effort was also for an entry into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) 2009.
