COMICAL yet gripping, the play ‘At a Plank Bridge’ is an intriguing tale of early Malayan identity at the conclusion of the Second World War.
Presented by Cape Poetics and staged at the Wawasan Open Univer-sity auditorium in Penang recently, the two-day production was a home-grown work composed by Kannan Menon, a stalwart of early English-language theatre in Malaysia.
