KUCHING: Some 83,000 students from Sarawak’s 11 divisions participated in a marathon reading programme organised by the state Education Department recently.
Dubbed as the Reading Safari 2008, the programme was launched in SMK Merapok, Lawas, on Oct 24 and went on to schools in Miri, Bintulu, Mukah, Kapit, Sibu, Sarikei, Betong, Sri Aman and Kota Samarahan before ending here on Oct 31.
