Use new methods, rubber smallholders told


MALACCA: The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) has urged rubber small holders to adopt new methods to boost rubber output to increase the country’s export capacity.

MRB director general Datuk Dr Kamarul Baharain Basir said that one way was the use of the Low Intensity Tapping System (LITS), the latest technology introduced by the board to stimulate higher latex production by rubber trees.
