THE directive for local authorities to switch off lights and air-conditioners during lunchtime seems like a good proposal but may not be practical as there could be some employees working at that time, especially those manning the counters.
During a visit to the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) yesterday, some of the lights at one of its departments were still on at about 1.15pm.
