Food and fun  

The Johor Baru Tiong-Hua Association is having a day of food and fun today in conjunction with Chinese New Year. Enjoy free mandarin oranges and Chinese New Year tit-bits while being amazed by Shanghai acrobats. The Open House is between 10am and noon. For details, call 07-2788 999. 

Lion dance  

In conjunction with Chinese New Year, there will be a lion dance at Skudai Parade, Johor Baru, on Feb 16. Come to the mall's main concourse at Level 1 from noon to 1pm to join in the fun. For details, call 07-5588 996. 

Ex-students reunion

Blood donation  

Malaysia Salam Foundation and Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital’s blood bank in Temerloh will hold a blood donation campaign to help replenish the blood bank today from 10am to 4pm. It will be held at the Temerloh main bus terminal next to The Store supermarket. Light refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to support the campaign. New office

Health check 

Women aged 40 and above are urged to undergo a mammogram to detect early signs of cancer. The Government is giving a subsidy of RM50 for screening. Those interested can contact the nearest LPPKN clinic for details. Kuantan residents can contact Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital at 09-513 1082 or visit the website www.lppkn.gov.my
