PENANG:A 79-year-old wheelchair-bound man has been charged with criminal breach of trust involving 63 priceless antique chairs belonging to the Khoo Kongsi temple.
Khoo Boon Leong, a former temple caretaker, claimed trial at a magistrate’s court here yesterday to misappropriating the chairs which were entrusted to his care at the temple’s storeroom on Victoria Street here at 12.15pm on June 21, 2000.
