Penang should have a cable car link between Butterworth and George Town as an alternative to the ferry services.
Finance Ministry parliamentary secretary Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahya said the link would ideally complement the RM1bil Penang Sentral project as a transportation and logistics hub.
