TWENTY-THREE beggars were rounded up in an operation in Ipoh following complaints from the public.
Officers from the Welfare De-partment, Ipoh City Council, the police and state Religious De-partment conducted the hour-long operation at 1.30pm on July 27 outside the Indian Mus-lim Mosque at Jalan SP Seeniva-sagam.
