ONCE upon a time it was the Indonesians, then came the Bangladeshis, followed by the Nepalese and Vietnamese. Now, we have the Myanmarese arriving in droves to take up employment in the Klang Valley and other cities in the country, legally or otherwise.
The majority certainly play a significant role in the nation's development as they take up jobs shunned by locals in sectors like plantation, construction, manufacturing, services and domestic help.
