The recognition, announced by Unesco Mandram director Eezha Vengkaiyanaar recently, made the temple the third in Johor to be recognised by the organisation.
Gambir assemblyman M. Asojan said that Unesco Mandram had pledged a RM500,000 financial assistance to complete the temple complex by the end of 2010.
