Milo and 100Plus do it again

MILO and 100Plus will continue to support the Po-wer 10km Run. This year’s 10km Run will be held at Dataran Merdeka on Sunday. 

Milo and 100Plus have again showed their commitment to-wards the annual event when they handed over their sponsorship to Federal Territory Ama- teur Athletics Association (FTAAA) secretary S. Vegiyathuman. 

Nestle Products sports marketing manager Ng Ping Loong said they were glad to be given the opportunity to be associated with the Power 10km Run. 

“Milo will always support spor-ting activities involving school children. The Power 10km Run is a training ground for qualities that will serve the youngsters well into their adult years,” Ng said.

“The organisation of the Power 10km Run will also assist the government in the development of sports and rekindle the sport culture among children.”  

F&N Coca-Cola regional event and sponsorship manager Mu-hammad Fauzi Ahmad said they were proud to be part of the mass-participation Power 10km Run. 

“100Plus isotonic drinks will be served to all participants and officials at the midway point for the 10km and 7km categories,” said Muhammad Fauzi. 

Bata Malaysia senior marketing manager Datuk James Selvaraj said the support from Milo and 100Plus had made the Run an exciting affair. 

“This is the eighth year that both Milo and 100Plus are with the Power 10km Run. We urge all runners to register early,” said Selvaraj.  

The event has nine categories – men’s open (18 years and above), women’s open (18 years and a-bove), men’s junior veteran (40-49 years), 7km men’s senior veteran (50 years and above), 7km women’s veteran (35 years and above), 7km men’s junior (16-17 years), 7km women’s junior (16-17 years), 5km boys (13-15 years) and 5km girls (13-15 years).
