An attempt to smuggle RM10,000 worth of orchid plants and longan seedlings into the country was foiled by the Kedah Agriculture Department at the border entrance of Bukit Kayu Hitam.
The seizure was made by the department’s Plant Quarantine Office at the Custom and Immi- gration Complex at 11pm on Sun- day.
