FOR a few hours, elderly folks from 15 different homes forgot about the absence of their family members as they were given a special Chinese New Year lunch at the Tai Thong Imperial Restaurant, Subang Jaya, last Thursday.
The lunch was jointly organised by Tai Thong Group of Restaurants and Yayasan Nanyang Press. Among the invited homes were Joyhaven Home, Rumah Victory, Rumah Charis, Little Sister of the Poor, Rumah Sejahtera Seri Kembangan, Rumah Orang Tua Seri Setia (Sg Way), Wesley Home, Ti -Ratana Welfare Society’s Elderly Home, Persatuan Kebajikan Rumah Grace, Caring Old Folks Home, Rumah Love & Care, Rumah Wargaemas Nascom, Amitabha Centre Charity Old Folks Home and Lovely Nursing Home.
