SEVERAL roads in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, will be closed today for the Fourth Lantern Festival parade organised by the Hakka, Hokkien, Teochew, Kwong Waai Siew and Hainan Chinese associations.
Event organising chairman Eng Hiap Boon said the road closure, between 7.15pm and 9.30pm, would involve Jalan Che Bee Nor, Jalan Kulim, Jalan Maju and Jalan Datuk Ooh Chooi Cheng.
