I agree with StarMetro article on the nuisance of double parking. Our driving culture is very uncivilised. Double parking is one small part of it.
Double parking and obstructing others are illegal. Local councils should be empowered to issue summonses and fines and take the offenders to task. Traffic cops can help out, too.
