SETTING eyes on the enormous lanterns on display, one cannot help but be awestruck. Housing seven would-be Malaysian record-holders, The Asia Lantern Carnival 2006 is indeed an event not to be missed.
The carnival boasts 25 different lanterns, some more intricate than others, but all equally interesting to behold. The lanterns were put together by 60 craftsmen from China within a month.
