Wesak Day celebrations
Kuantan Buddhist Association has planned dhamma talks, special prayers, the lighting of lamps and a procession around the Bukit Ubi Pahang Buddhist Association grounds. On Wesak Day, there will be prayers and the bathing of the Buddha statue in the main shrine. For the young, there will be a colouring contest, quizzes, musical performances, video shows and exhibitions on Budhha's teachings. The association is also hosting a self-service vegetarian lunch between 11.30am and 2pm on May 12.
