As promised, Petaling Jaya residents were given the chance to view the accounts of the Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) at 2.30pm on Wednesday. A thunderstorm had just blown over by the time the residents left the viewing area at 5pm. However, another kind of storm is brewing as residents discovered that the accounts raised more questions than answers. K.W. MAK reports.
Two hours and thirty minutes was all the time residents had to inspect the Petaling Jaya Municipal Council (MPPJ) accounts for the years 2000 to 2004, as promised by council president Datuk Ahmad Termizi Puteh.
