TWENTY-NINE traders in Kedah were issued compound fines for various offences, including failure to display price tags during checks at 2,457 premises by the authorities last week.
State Industry, Science, Technology, Trade and Consumer Affairs Commit-tee chairman Datuk Chong Itt Chew said goods worth RM3,949 were seized during the checks.
