The electronic Local Authority Management System (eLAMS) has been activated on the island to reduce waiting time for approval of building plans and to enhance transparency in the delivery system.
Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon, who launched the portal recently, said the one-stop processing centre covered building plan approval and the issuance of certificate of fitness for occupation.
