TWO factories found guilty of throwing rubbish into the river in Desa Aman were shut down for a week in November.
After several spot checks, Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) enforcement officers and the Selangor Drainage and Irrigation Department found the factories' workers throwing rubbish into the river and were issued RM500 fine.
