Ensure bus maintenance, operators told

Companies that operate public bus services in Sarawak especially in rural districts have no excuse to not keep their vehicles in proper condition since the Government has increased fares by 33% for stage buses and 11% for express buses effective October. 

Commercial Vehicles Licencing Board chairman Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said that apart from ensuring their buses were in proper condition, operators should increase trips on the various routes they ply.
