Fish and wine
Sea smelt fish dish is this month's highlight at Kampachi Japanese restaurant. The fish, de-boned and marinated with salt and soya sauce is deep-fried in batter till golden brown. It is then served with ladies' finger and ponzu sauce. The dish is priced at RM36++. Australian wines to match the dish are the Sileni Sauvignon BLanc at RM99++ and the Villa Maria CS Pinor Noir at RM169++ from New Zealand.
