IN ORDER to escape relocation, traders at the Taman Connaught night market are taking their own initiatives to alleviate traffic congestion.
City Hall had on June 29 issued letters ordering the 150-odd traders in Zone A (Jalan Cerdas 1 and Jalan Cerdas, near the basketball court) to move to Zone C (on Jalan Cerdas, near Alliance Bank) as they caused traffic congestion along nearby roads, particularly Jalan Cerdik that links the Connaught Highway to many other housing estates in Cheras, every Wednesday.
