Hitachi Sales (M) Sdn Bhd's partnership with Paramount Pictures and United International Pictures (UIP) to promote the adaptation of H.G. Wells’ classic The War of the Worlds is a new campaign strategy designed to strengthen the brand name on a global level. 

Hitachi managing director Shigeharu Annaka said Hitachi's promotional campaign titled “The Ultimate Visual Experience” included global advertising and marketing activities.
