HIGHLAND dwellers have proposed that tourists pay a surcharge of RM2 on top of the RM4 funicular railway fare to fund the development of Penang Hill.
Bukit Bendera Residents Associa-tion (RA) advisor Ahmad Chik said the proposed RM2 development surcharge would generate about RM2mil in annual revenue based on one million visitors to the hill yearly.
