Batik art for profit and pleasure

STARMETRO'S regular articles on Malaysian artists are always interesting. Asian art is so different to Western art and I personally find the articles very informative. The professionalism of the artists that you feature seems to be well up to world standards.  

However, without detracting from the professionalism and dedication of these artists, there is one aspect of Malaysian art that I feel is truly unique and has appeared to have escaped much international or even local publicity.
