Three Customs officers plead not guilty to bribery charges


KUALA LUMPUR: Three members of the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) detained in Ops Samba 2.0 were separately charged in the Sessions Court here Thursday (May 30) for allegedly accepting bribes to release cargo trucks without inspection.

Before Judge Suzana Hussin, Shaharudin Suboh, 54, pleaded not guilty to 22 charges, while Alizan Wahid, 43, pleaded the same to four charges.
