UOA Hospitality signs MoU with hotel management company

UOA Hospitality Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UOA Development Bhd, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on matters related to hospitality with Hubei Chutian Media & Hotel Investment Management Co Ltd.

The purpose of the MOU is for both companies to commence work in establishing a long-term, mutually beneficial strategic partnership in hospitality through resource sharing, complementary advantages and exploration of new markets.

Witnessed by China’s Ambassador to Malaysia Huang Hui Kang, the signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the official launch of Malaysia-Hubei Media Week 2016 at Connexion Conference and Event Centre (CCEC) in V E Hotel & Residence, Bangsar South.

The MoU was signed by UOA Development Bhd director Alan Winduss and Hubei Chutian general manager Gao Chun Jing.

UOA Hospitality’s portfolio of hotels in Kuala Lumpur includes Capri by Fraser in Bangsar South (a collaboration with international hotel operator, Frasers Hospitality Pte Ltd), Invito Hotel Suites in Bukit Ceylon and the recently opened V E Hotel & Residence in Bangsar South.

V E Hotel & Residence in Bangsar South is a new four-star hotel property that combines modern design sensibility with a distinct Asian personality.

Comprising 337 well-appointed rooms and 95 fully furnished serviced residences, it offers an array of facilities including a number of food and beverage outlets as well as conference and event spaces under the CCEC.

The CCEC is also managed by UOA Hospitality and features a total of 18,580.6sqm in event space that encompasses the facilities of Connexion@Nexus which was launched in 2014 and the new facilities located in The Vertical building, directly below V E Hotel & Residence.
