Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for March delivery dropped 1.79 dollars, or 2.77 percent, to settle at 62.84 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for April delivery decreased by 1.88 dollars, or 2.71 percent, to settle at 67.52 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
