KUCHING: Jaya Tiasa Holdings Bhd’s plywood exports to South Korea have soared following the latter’s cut in anti-dumping duties on its subsidiary by more than half, to 3.08% from 6.43%.

In the 12 months to June 30, 2015 (FY2015), the Sibu-based timber group’s plywood shipment to South Korea surged by 11% year-on-year. South Korea emerged as the group’s largest export destination, accounting for 40% of its total exports in US dollar terms.
