Youngster impresses judges at walking circuit meet

The participants start in the Under-12 age group event.

FORMER international walker Khoo Chong Beng was impressed by Daniel Chai Minwen’s techniques at the Milo-Junior Development Programme walking circuit.

Daniel, the lone participant in the men’s Open 5,000m, clocked 33.06 in the first leg of the circuit at the National Sports Council (NSC) Complex in Setiawangsa. The circuit is organised by the Race Walkers Association of Malaysia (RWAM) with support from Milo.
