A HOSPITAL in Iskandar Puteri has contributed RM15,000 in support of Breast Cancer Support Group Johor Bahru (BCSGJB), to promote awareness and early detection.

The contribution – RM5,000 cash and RM10,000 worth of complimentary mammogram screenings – was presented by Columbia Asia Hospital Iskandar Puteri chief executive officer Dr Ding Eng Li to BCSGJB at the latter’s premises in Larkin, Johor Baru.

The hospital in a media statement said the initiative reflected its continued efforts to support community health and encourage women to take a proactive approach towards breast health.

The RM10,000 worth of complimentary mammogram screenings will be coordinated with BCSGJB, which will assist in identifying eligible recipients.

“We are pleased to be able to support BCSGJB through this contribution.

“We hope the support will reach women who need it and, more importantly, encourage greater awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection,” said Dr Ding.
