Taman Jaya park still draws crowds amid upgrading works

THE public park in Taman Jaya, Petaling Jaya, continues to buzz with activity as phased upgrading works continue, particularly around its iconic lake.

Families seem to love coming here to play with their children, enjoy the playground and splash pool, and even have a cosy picnic at the gazebos.

Senior citizens practise gentle exercises like stretches or tai chi, while joggers and cyclists occupy the pathways.

Recreational badminton players are also a common sight in the open clearings.

Connectivity is a major draw for visitors as the park is easily reachable by LRT.

Surrounding a lake, Taman Jaya park’s tranquil atmosphere remains an attraction for city folk seeking a green escape.
