PKT Logistics Group Sdn Bhd (PKT) emerged a winner of Malaysia’s Best Managed Companies 2025 award.

This prestigious award, presented by Deloitte Private, honours outstanding private businesses for their exceptional performance, leadership and contributions to their industries and communities.

The Best Managed Companies programme celebrates organisations that demonstrate excellence in strategy, capability, innovation, culture and governance.

This year marks PKT’s first recognition as one of Malaysia’s best managed companies and the first homegrown logistics company to win the Best Managed award, highlighting the company’s sustained excellence and resilience in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

“This award is a powerful validation of our five-decade journey to be a leading homegrown logistics service provider,” said PKT group chief executive and managing director Datuk Seri Michael Tio.

“It stands as a testament of our strong leadership, corporate culture, operational excellence and our continuous commitment to innovation and sustainability.

“True success is not about how much money we make.

“Instead, it’s about how responsibly we make our profits,” he said.

As one of Malaysia’s leading business awards, the Best Managed Companies programme highlights the critical role private companies play as innovators and key contributors to the nation’s economic growth.

Each year, aspirational companies undergo a rigorous, independent evaluation based on Deloitte’s global Best Managed Companies framework, benchmarked against more than 1,700 best managed companies around the world.

“Best Managed winners exemplify how strong leadership and sound strategies can drive long-term success while contributing to Malaysia’s economic growth,” said Deloitte Private leader and executive director Chee Pei Pei.

“In today’s fast-changing market, they continue to innovate, adapt and uphold the Best Managed pillars, demonstrating a commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth,” Chee added.
