ICONIC F&B outlet Souled Out celebrated its 30th anniversary with a day-long event that combined food, music and community spirit at its flagship restaurant in Desa Sri Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.

The “Wonderfest” event transformed the venue into a high-energy wonderland, beginning at sunrise with activities such as yoga and shadowboxing.

Guests were welcomed by brand mascot Pearlly, followed by a morning coffee rave that set the tone for the festivities.

By evening, the celebration was in full swing.

Performances by Rhythm Up Dancers, Acoustic Fourplay, Halida and Alvin as well as DJ Melissa Jo kept the energy high.

The momentum built up to back-to-back performances by Malaysian music talents such as Junji Delfino, Dasha Logan, Jordan Rivers, Samantha De Lune, Izen Kong and vocal group Pop n’ Bop.

The 17-piece Souled Out Big Band also took the stage in a show-stopping performance.

Reggae artist Sasi the Don later made a surprise appearance, before DJ FM1 closed the night.

Restaurant founder Fred Choo said the event was a celebration of the community built over the years.

“We’ve never been about just serving food. We’ve always wanted to create a place where people feel like they belong.

“Seeing the many familiar faces and new ones celebrating with us made it all worth it.

“This was not just our milestone — this was everyone’s.

“We’ve built something special, and we’ve done it together,” he said.

The event included food stations, signature drinks, stilt walkers and dancers.

Souled Out also channelled 20% of proceeds to Hospis Malaysia, The Lost Food Project and Dignity for Children Foundation under its Heart and Soul initiative.
