Taste of triumph

A Deepavali spread at Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur South.

DEEPAVALI is a time for Hindus all over the world to celebrate joy, renewal and togetherness.

Also known as the Festival of Lights, it symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.

Besides the signature oil lamps, intricate kolam designs and festive decorations, this is when families gather to share in an array of mouthwatering savoury dishes and colourful traditional sweets.

For families wanting to take a break from cooking, here are some dining destinations to consider for the auspicious occasion.
