Spotlight on popular kampung-style dishes

This year’s Ramadan buffet at Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre offers an extensive selection.

THE “Selera Kampungku” buffet dinner has returned to Crowne Plaza Kuala Lumpur City Centre, celebrating Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage.

Hosted during the Ramadan period at Merchants, the all-day-dining restaurant on Level 13, this year’s buffet provides an even more extensive selection of authentic kampung-style dishes curated by the hotel’s team, led by executive chef Adrian Jackson.

Designed to bring family and friends together, this dining experience is a celebration of flavour, tradition and togetherness.

The gastronomic adventure features regional specialities from across Peninsular Malaysia.

There is rendang elevated with premium wagyu, Kambing Golek that boasts succulent spit-roasted lamb and Johor Murtabak with crispy skin and spiced filling.

For comforting flavours, there are Sup Tulang Kambing from Penang, chicken rice from Melaka and Nasi Briyani Ayam Bombay.

To complete the meal, enjoy apam balik, a crispy yet fluffy peanut-filled pancake, and ais kacang (ABC).

The buffet dinner is available until March 27, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.

It is priced at RM238+ (adult), RM168+ (senior citizen, aged 60 and above) and RM118+ (child, six to 12).
