Mokhzani has led the hotel’s culinary team in their creation of a Ramadan buffet to please many palates.
OVER 100 iftar dishes are set to delight at Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur this Ramadan.
Created by chef Mokhzani Mazmadi, the dishes are based on the concept of Flavours of Heritage.
To be served at five food stations and 13 stalls, these offerings are part of the Selera Maya 2025 Ramadan buffet.
At the media preview of the buffet, guests were treated to appetisers, soups, grilled mains and desserts.
A range of tastes were catered for as Western, Thai and Malaysian flavours imbued the delights that were served to 200 guests.
While media representatives were among those present, the launch also feted celebrities and corporate business partners.
Among the celebrities were Ifa Raziah, Azharina Azhar, Fazli Zainal and Ayu Damit.
The meaty dishes of Roasted Lamb, Spaghetti Carbonara, Daging Tetel Asam Pedas Melaka, Sup Kambing, Sup Tulang, and the Ketupat Palas dan Rendang Ayam proved to be the favourites.
Seafood offerings that scored with the guests were the assorted Grilled Fish, Ketam Masak Kam Heong, Udang Masak Lemak Nenas and Spaghetti Marinara.
Comforting meals such as Bubur Lambuk, Roti John, Kerabu Maggi and Apam Balik were also served.
Among the sweet Malay porridges were the Bubur Jagung, Bubur Pengat Pisang, Bubur Nangka Keladi and Bubur Cha Cha.
Guests were treated to festive songs by the Alpha Buskers band who will also perform during the iftar buffet come March.
“We want all our guests to gather with their families and break their fast with a delicious meal.
“Therefore, we are offering an affordable iftar buffet,” said Hotel Maya Kuala Lumpur general manager Sharmini Moganasundram.
This buffet dinner is available at the Ballroom from March 7 until 28.
It is priced at RM109nett per adult, RM59nett per senior citizen and RM49nett per child for weekday bookings.
For weekend bookings, prices are RM119nett per adult, RM69nett per senior citizen and RM59nett per child.
All prices are inclusive of government taxes.
