Contest winner drives home MPV

Shopping destination Aman Central announced the grand and consolation prize winners for its “Appreci8th” celebration.

Held to commemorate Aman Central’s eighth anniversary, the Appreci8th celebrations showcased appreciation for shoppers’ support.

This event involved a diverse array of tenants with 80 prizes given away.

Aman Central marketing communications general manager Ken Chin said, “We want to share the joy of this milestone, having overcome challenges to come this far.

“Our anniversary campaign is an opportunity to thank and reward our shoppers for maintaining Aman Central as the leading premium mall in the northern region.”

He added, “Our commitment remains constant and because of you, we have achieved a remarkable 100% growth in footfall within the first four months of 2024.

“We will continue to bring unparalleled events in 2025 as we eagerly anticipate our 10th anniversary!”

Each shopper was entitled to one entry with a minimum spend of RM300 in up to two combined receipts from any outlet in Aman Central.

The final three shortlisted shoppers participated in a thrilling game of musical chairs, with the last two finalists diving into a bag of styrofoam balls to find the car key for a brand-new Mitsubishi Xpander with roof cargo and body kit worth RM120,000.

Aman Central also rewarded 79 other winners with prizes, including a Gens Great Idea wedding package worth RM12,000, Tomei 18k White Gold jewellery worth RM10,000, a year’s supply of ecoBrown’s Gold 5kg, RM3,000 in New Era cash vouchers and products, LokalTeez merchandise worth RM4,870, Dome vouchers worth RM2,000, Elrah Exclusive vouchers worth RM2,000, Fipper vouchers worth RM2,000, Medi Beaute vouchers worth RM1,000, and more.

Appreci8th anniversary celebrations will continue in October for its ninth year with even more prizes to be won.

Shoppers can look forward to more campaigns, redemptions and contests from Aman Central, especially during the upcoming festive periods including Hari Raya Haji, National Day, the Face Of Aman Central event associated with Kedah Fashion Week and Christmas.

These initiatives are part of Aman Central’s efforts to enhance its brand presence and strengthen its visibility nationwide.

“I expect all residents of Alor Setar and Kedah to support Aman Central in upholding its status as a leading mall and enhancing the city through this tourism initiative,” said Alor Setar mayor Datuk Mohd Yusri Md Daud, who was also present at the event.

For this year’s campaign, Aman Central partnered with JM Auto Gallery (Alor Setar) Sdn Bhd, Gens Great Idea and Tomei.

Other strategic partners included ecoBrown’s, Dome, New Era, Lotus’s, LokalTeez, Elrah Exclusive, Fipper and Medi Beaute.
