Spreading Chinese New Year cheer

HAMPERS filled with delectable goodies, mandarin oranges, beverages and colourful red packets were the order of the day as hotels and developers stopped at The Star Pitt Street office in George Town, Penang, to spread Chinese New Year cheer.

M Summit Group general manager Moh Wei Ken presented Star Media Group (SMG) assistant news editor Tan Sin Chow and journalist N. Trisha with a hamper and ang pow packets.

He was joined by its group corporate communications manager Ng Su-Ann and graphic designer Carolyn Chew.

Tech Dome Penang chief executive officer Khoo Boo Wooi also brought along a box of mandarin oranges.

He was joined by senior maintenance executive Edward Toh, who handed over the goodies to SMG client brand marketing (bureaus) general manager Simone Liong and Sin Chow.

Bringing over beverages and goodies including calendars from its Chinese New Year 2024 campaign was Heineken.

Heineken marketing Malaysia Sdn Bhd regional commercial manager (north) Patrick William Chong said the brand kicked off its festive campaign with promotions and the tagline “Cheers to a Bolder Tomorrow”.

He was joined by its regional trade marketing manager Chan Kok Wai, marketing development supervisor Ong Jun Quan, area sales manager Ong Boon Siong and Hong Bee group general manager Liew Kok Leong.

They handed over the goodies to Liong and client brand marketing team lead Andy Tan.

Also visiting with goodies and wishes for the festive season was Ideal Property Group.

Ideal Property Group branding and public relations representative Khoo Phay Mun was joined by its public relations executive Kate Teoh, 1st Avenue senior marketing and communications executive Joanne Ooi and 1st Avenue Penang marketing and communications executive Elly Ong. Together, they handed over a Chinese New Year hamper to Sin Chow.
