Books for Better World (BFBW) and Kiwanis Club of Taman Tun Dr Ismail (KCTTDI) have joined hands to give books to needy children to spread holiday cheer.

To amplify the joy during the programme at Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya, Cocolicious stepped in to sponsor additional gifts for the children from Dignity for Children Foundation and Myanmar Refugee Community Learning Centre (MRCLC).

Both organisations are dedicated to promoting literacy for a brighter future and supporting those with special educational needs.

KCTTDI also presented prizes to winners of its essay competition held as part of its youth leadership programme.

Sean Puon Chung Vui, Alethea Anjali Choi and Tishay Thriyhan Tesanggu walked away with RM1,750 worth of shopping vouchers courtesy of the mall.

Ms Face of Humanity Malaysia 2023 and BFBW ambassador Malveen Kaur Gill was present to inspire the children.

KCTTDI and BFBW will also donate 800 more books to Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Home Of Peace Kuala Lumpur, Wonder Village, Persatuan Murid-Murid Tua Sekolah Serdang Baru, MRCLC and Dignity For Children Foundation.

BFBW founder Adrian Ung thanked donors of the books and also volunteers who helped to wrap the gifts.

The children gave a delightful choir performance and also participated in a gift exchange activity at the event.

To complete the experience, KCTTDI and Cocolicious provided meals and coconut beverages for the children.
