The eighth Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) full board meeting ended on a bittersweet note on Wednesday (July 26) when a Zone 18 councillor, Ahmad Akhir Pawan Chik, announced his resignation to stand in the upcoming Selangor polls.
Ahmad Akhir, who oversees PJS 2 and PJS 4, was named as a candidate for Taman Medan by PKR.
