KFC IS THE GOLD STANDARD FOR KEPCI FANS

KFC, one of the most popular fast-food chains and leading QSR brand in Malaysia, won Gold in the Retail (Restaurants and Fast Food) category at the Putra Brand Awards (PBA) 2022 – for the eighth consecutive year.

KFC, one of the most popular fast-food chains and leading QSR brand in Malaysia, is known for serving high-quality food and beverage products that give customers irresistible tastes.

Their food quality and service were acknowledged again at the prestigious Putra Brand Awards (PBA) 2022. Known as the People’s Choice Award, the winners were 100% voted by Malaysian consumers.

For the eighth consecutive year, KFC Malaysia won Gold in the Retail (Restaurants and Fast Food) category at the recent PBA 2022 held at One World Hotel in Petaling Jaya.

“Our heartiest appreciation goes out to all of our Kepci fans who believed in us,” says KFC Malaysia chief marketing officer Chan May Ling.

“Your confidence and endorsement through this award means the world to us and further cements KFC as the nation’s favourite fried chicken brand.

“This only encourages us to serve you with more innovative offerings and a better Finger Lickin’ Good experience.

“Our commitments from the start have always been to continuously create irresistible tastes and memorable experiences for all, strictly at uncompromising values and quality to make your every meal and visit worthwhile.

“As with the previous years following unprecedented challenges wrought by Covid-19, 2022 had its fair share of challenges. We are proud to say that we have upheld these commitments throughout.

“2023 will be extra special with the year being our 50th with many exciting initiatives to be unveiled,” she shares.

Last year brought many original moments and great memories for the brand and customers alike as the brand bolstered its focus on digital transformation.

The new KFC app was launched in October 2022 with new practical features and the introduction of Pesan Lagi, Jimat Lagi reward points that customers can redeem as cash value when making payments for their next purchases.

Other amazing highlights were sending Kepci FC contest winners to Qatar and being declared the best-tasting KFC in the world by Kamlesh Mistry, the world’s biggest KFC fan who has tried KFC in over 50 countries.

Besides that, many limited-time-only Finger Lickin’ Good menus were created to satisfy Malaysians’ cravings such as KFC Ayam Percik, KFC x Lay’s, KFC Spicy Smoky Crunch, KFC Spicy Cheese Crunch and Burger.

KFC also embarked on a marketing campaign to reignite Malaysians’ love for KFC which expanded its burger ranger to include the Cheezy O.R. Burger.

Several delightful menu launches of affordable yet uncompromised quality like Jimat Siang and 2 for RM20 Snack Plate promo were also well received by fans.

Looking forward to 2023, KFC Malaysia promises many interactive activities and surprises to further strengthen its relationship with customers and an array of investments to consistently build brand love.

Again, KFC Malaysia thanks Malaysians for this prestige recognition.
