BERTAM THEME PARK SET TO MAKE A SPLASH

GET set to have a splashing good time at Penang’s latest theme park located in Bertam, Kepala Batas.

Owned and managed by Maritime Water Front Suites Sdn Bhd, the Bertam Souk & Water Park is the area’s pride and joy, being the first major tourist attraction in the area.

It reopened on Jan 7, 2023, after a temporary closure.

Now, families from all over the country can look forward to fun water activities at the park.

It has more than 14 exhilarating fun rides, with the Voyager, Blue Lagoon and Rush Racer being the most popular and thrilling.

Whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or simply want to relax by floating down a stream, the park has something for everyone.

Safety is a priority at the park which employs a well-trained team of lifeguards and crew. However, parents are reminded to always keep watch over their precious little ones during their outing.

After a day of thrills and spills, water park guests can choose to unwind at The Souk, which is located within the park itself.

This breezy, open-air venue is designed and structured with many of the elements associated with Mediterranean elegance.

The idea was the brainchild of the managing director Datuk Mohamed Iqbal S. Habeeb Noohu and wife, Datin Noorzaina Mat Zain.

The Souk, meaning “bazaar” in Arabic, offers its guests an array of local fusion dishes and western food as well as thirst quenchers at the Juzz Bar, and not to be missed is Bertam’s very own Water Park Patisserie.

To commemorate the highly anticipated re-opening of the water theme park, tickets are now on promotion rates until March 31, 2023.

They are available from RM38.50+ for children and RM58.80+ for adults. For convenience, the public can purchase the tickets both online and offline.
