Over 2,000 turn up for Malaysia Day run in Klang


The #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2022 comprised a 5km fun run and a half marathon.

A RUN organised to celebrate Malaysia Day saw over 2,000 participants at Setia Bayuemas Lake Park in Klang.

Property developer S P Setia organised the 5km fun run and a 21.1km half marathon.

“The event was a good start for gatherings and activities after Covid-19 pandemic,” said S P Setia independent non-executive director Datuk Merina Abu Tahir, adding “I feel very energised and it was a great unity event for Setia citizens and everyone.”

“We are very pleased with the turnout despite weather conditions,” said S P Setia chief strategy officer Lindayani Tajudin.

The event also included a Zumba session, face painting and rollerskating.

Jointly organised with JomRun, #Setia4Malaysia Unity Run 2022 was supported by Youth and Sports Ministry.
