SUNWAY BIDS FAREWELL TO ICONIC SOCIAL DISTANCING COMPANIONS

Screen grab of Sunway University’s Social Distancing Companions ‘graduation’ video.

TWO years ago, Sunway University’s iconic Social Distancing Companions arrived at the #MostHappeningCampus with a mission to support and help our community through the pandemic. They encouraged us to adopt the unfamiliar practice of “social distancing” and provided students with positive assurance that we are on this journey together in combating the Covid-19 pandemic.

Social Distancing Companions showcased highly inspirational people like 2014 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai and football superstar Lionel Messi to theoretical physicist Albert Einstein and popular modern-day figures like Korean boy band BTS and Woody from Pixar’s Toy Story and many more.

Now, their job to provide support and assist with social distancing has come to a successful conclusion.

Just like any other successful graduates, their time on Sunway campus has come to an end.

In keeping with tradition they will be rewarded and recognised with their own graduation.

The student community thanks them for their friendship and support whilst on campus and wish them luck on their next adventure.
